Persona 4 The Animation Noriko by ScarletCavaliere
Yosuke POV

Yosuke: C'mon Y/n! Do it for me!

Y/n: I’m not dating Kashiwagi-sensei. It’s this little thing called “illegal”.

Yosuke: You’re my senpai though! You gotta look out for your kohais man!

Y/n: “Senpai” is not a synonym for “slave”. And I do look out for my kohais. Also known as the Investigation Squad.

Yosuke: I’ll fail though! She’ll fail me! Me! Out of all people!

Spring break was coming up, which meant that parents were going to look at their child’s grades and determine how easy their spring break is. For most people, it’s easy sailing. Such is the case with people like Yu, Yukiko, and Y/n. But those dudes like me, our parents are going to completely kill us. Maybe literally. I don’t want this failing grade because I know I’m not going to hear the end of it and I’d probably go to cram school.

Y/n: How did this deal come to fruition anyway?

~Flashback~

The bell for class to end was just rung. I proceeded to do what I normally did and got up to leave since that was the last thing for the day. Until she said my name.

Noriko: Hanamura-kun. I need to talk to you about something.

When she used my last name and ended it with -kun, I knew exactly what I was in for: a stern talking and it’s about something important. How did I know? My parents do the same thing when it’s about something important.

Yosuke: What is it Kashiwagi-sensei?

Noriko: I was going through grades earlier and noticed that you were failing a couple of classes. It would be shame if your parents found out.

Yosuke: What?! How do you know?!

Noriko: I have my sources. Fortunately, I think I have a proposition that could work for the mutual benefit for the both of us.

Yosuke: And what’s that?

Noriko: I heard you have a relationship with a certain third-year student named Y/n L/n.

Yosuke: Yeah…and?

Noriko: I want you to get me a date with that…god among men. If you do, I’ll raise your grades before they reach your family.

~Flashback over~

Y/n: And you agreed to it?!

Yosuke: A man’s got to do what a man’s got to do.

Y/n: Bullshit. Tough titties friend, hope you like repeating a year. Bye-bye! See you later.

Yosuke: C’mon! You can’t do me dirty like this! Besides, she flirts with everyone in the class!

Y/n: Don’t care, wouldn’t feel right.

C’mon Yosuke! Think of something, your only hope is about to walk away from you, so just think of something that would convince him to stay!

I got it!

Yosuke: If you let me fail, then I’ll be sure to close Junes for spring break! And if any more murders happen, they’ll be because you decided not to go out with her.

Yes! He stopped in his tracks! This is good! Or bad, I’ve heard from Kanji that he gives someone his entire mind when he’s going on a tirade.

Y/n: You wouldn’t DARE do something so completely asinine and reckless as that! That innocent blood might be on my hands, but that blood will spill onto yours as well. And I know you Hanamura, that guilt will make you crack and force you to open your doors to us. And we’ll go into the TV world like we do, with or without you.

Yosuke: Maybe I might, but that doesn’t mean that people won’t die because you didn’t go out with her. Sure, I might open the doors eventually, but some people will die for me to do it.

Y/n: You wouldn’t allow a couple of people to die to prove a point.

Yosuke: Are you willing to take the risk?

Oh god, please don’t kill me. Surely, he doesn’t have the dual guns he uses to kill shadows on him, right?

Right?!

~The next day~

Y/n: Yosuke is dead.

Everyone else: What?!

(Just fucking with you)

~The next day~

Y/n POV

Y/n: Kashiwagi-sensei, Hanamura-kun said that you had something to tell me.

Can't believe I'm doing this. It's okay Y/n, one date can't hurt your pride. Besides, you won't be found out and expelled and for her, lose her teaching license. Can't be that bad right? Even if it is a temporary thing, I at least have to show that I do care, so I do plan to spare no expense, how I would do with any woman that I did take a fancy towards.

Noriko: Oh, L/n-kun, we can surely drop the formalities. You are close to your graduation after all.

She does her research. Or stalking. Either way, she was right. I graduate earlier because I already have a job and that job is being the bodyguard to someone named Mitsuru Kirijo. Sort of fits in with what the family does, my dad and mom are cops and I'm a bodyguard. As part of the deal I made with Kirijo-sama, she would get me to graduate early and be her bodyguard full-time, as long as I kept my grades to a high standard. Not perfect, that's impossible, but something like the best student in the school. Both overall grades and in test grades and scores.

Nothing special would happen on my graduation, just the thing that certified me as a graduate and then I'm out, sticking to Kirijo-sama's side at all times like a fly to a wall or metal to a magnet.

Y/n: I'd prefer to stick to them, for the time being.

Noriko: Whatever floats your boat sailor.

Y/n: So, what's this about? Hanamura didn't specify what you wanted to talk to me about.

Noriko: I'll be frank Y/n, I have taken an interest in a man such as yourself. I want to try to...see if a relationship can be formed between us. Before you become one of many labeled to me as "the one that got away".

Y/n: One date, Noriko, I'll pay for everything. I highly doubt a teacher's salary can pay for the high class that I want. When are you available?

Noriko: This Saturday sound good?

Y/n: I'll see what I can do. I can't guarantee it though.

Noriko: That's fine, I've been looking for an excuse to not grade. Talk to you tomorrow?

Y/n: Of course.

~The next day~
~After school~

Noriko POV

Here I was, sitting behind my desk and lazily grading away student's papers. My mind was drifting to where my imagination was running wild, thinking about the places that Y/n had considered high-class. He works for the Kirijo Group, guarding one of its higher-ups with his very life, so I would imagine the kind of pay that he gets. I can just imagine the foods that the restaurant might bring. Sushi bar, sukiyaki, udon noodles...my mouth just waters from the imaginative taste alone!

Hearing a knock at the door, I looked up from the stack of papers I was “grading” and see my soon-to-be boyfriend dressed in his uniform that he added a personal touch to make him stand out a bit more: his leather jacket instead of the normal one most students kept on their person in one way or another.

Noriko: Oh, Y/n, what a surprise for you to drop by. I assume you put in the reservation?

Y/n: Sunday, at 6:00 pm. Where do you want me to pick you up?

Noriko: I’ll give you the address Friday. Anything special that I should wear?

Y/n: Formal wear. Business casual at the least.

I can just taste the food now!

~Sunday~
~Evening, 5:30 pm.~

Applying the final touches of my red lipstick, I check myself in the mirror one last time before waiting for the horn to signal that Y/n was here. I would see from the teacher’s office window that he had his own bike, so I was anticipating hearing him revving the engines super loud like the bikers do in those videos with his sports bike or be like everyone else and use the horn.

I didn’t have any dresses on standby, so I wasn’t exactly looking my sexiest for him, but I tried to make it work with what I had and what I had was alright, but those dresses would’ve been the knockout punch that would put me in the comfort of his arms and he would whisper “I love you” in my ear all seductive.

Outside, I hear an engine go completely crazy and ran outside to see Y/n, dressed biker casual with a brown leather jacket, white dress shirt tucked into jeans, and brown dress shoes with a matching belt. Damn, that man sure knows how to dress.

Angry male voice: Keep it down! People are trying to sleep! Kids these days…

Y/n: Don’t worry asshole, I’ll be long gone before you can reach down between your legs, touch your balls, and kiss your ass goodbye!

Angry male voice: What did you just say?! What school do you go to?!

Y/n: School of being sensible. Seems like you didn’t go there, considering you’re shouting your mind off, it went up and died the second you said a two syllable word.

Angry male voice: *walks away* Can’t believe I wasted my time with you…

Y/n: Sucks to suck! *notices Noriko is there* Sorry you had to see that.

Noriko: No, no…it’s fine. Now I know you’re not all business and professionalism.

Y/n: Yeah, but I’d like to keep my outbursts to a minimum. Hop on, or we’ll be late.

Noriko: No helmet?

Y/n: Wouldn’t want to mess up the hair you have now would I? Besides, I like to live on the wilder side of life.

~Time skip~

Halfway into the dinner service and I had never tried good food such as this before! Sushi and sashimi, bowls of udon and takoyaki, he could even afford the very expensive fugu fish! Now, we were just waiting for our desserts that we both ordered. He ordered a red velvet cheesecake while I just had to try a crepe.

Y/n: How’s the dinner service Noriko?

Noriko: Amazing, I never once tried stuff like this before! Never imagined that I would even get the chance to try it. Thank you for agreeing to go out on a date with me. Although, everything would go back to the way it will be once this night is over, right?

Y/n: Not quite. From what I hear from the kohais I look over, you do a pretty shit job of teaching. Here’s my proposition: you give up your flirting and stick to teaching. In return, I’ll spoil you with something like this in return. Who knows? I might be able to love you. Maybe I already do love you and I just won't admit it.

Noriko: Oh? And, let's say, that you do love me. When will you tell me?

Y/n: The actual graduation date. The one where I'm not a part of it. At that point, I won't be considered a student and society won't frown upon our relationship.

Noriko: Oh, I just love loopholes like this one.

Y/n: For now, our relationship must be kept a secret.

~After school~

With the graduation ceremony over and school being done for the year, I went to my desk to recover a couple of things before moving all of my teaching things back into my house for the entire year until the school year begins again. When I walked inside, I noticed Y/n, leaning against the desk, now in a more complete motorcyclist outfit. Having a compression shirt underneath his now black leather jacket that has the Kirijo Group's logo on the right side of the jacket. He also wore a pair of black chinos with two pistol holsters strapped to each thigh and I would assume he was wearing a pair of black running shoes or, most likely, a pair of military boots. He also had black fingerless gloves and a visible earpiece in his right ear as to show everyone that he was a bit serious when it comes to this line of work.

Y/n: Hello Noriko.

Noriko: Y/n...how's life for you? After your graduation?

Y/n: Life's been fine. Job's a bit boring though, but maybe that's because Kirijo-sama and I intimidate people. So, that's a positive.

Noriko: I remember what you said, about when you would come back on graduation day.

Y/n: Oh? Maybe I forgotten why I came here. Why don't you refresh my mind a bit?

Noriko: Stop playing with my heart Y/n. It's rude to do that to a woman.

Y/n: Fine, if you say so. Noriko, I moved your stuff into my house. You see, I can't exactly sleep soundly when I'm always distraught with fear that you might be killed when the murders were going on. When you're closer to me like this, I can always hold you close, to be the wall that shields you in your sleep.

Noriko: Then, where do you live?

Y/n: I left it here on your desk. Now, if you excuse me, Kirijo-sama is waiting for my return. Au revoir.

I personally imagine “my” motorcycle being a Honda Gold Wing tricycle.
